Founder Alejandro Lopez was born in Spain in 1866 and emigrated to America at the age of twenty. He worked in tobacco farming in Panama to earn a living and acquire knowledge. In 1910, he settled in the Dominican Republic and founded a cigar factory in the 1920s, which he managed until his death in 1948.
The cigars in the Dominicana series by Alejandro Lopez are Dominican puros. These handcrafted sandwich fillers offer a gentle draw and reveal their woody aroma from the first puff. Light roasted notes and a delicate, creamy sweetness round out the profile. Adorned with a generous belly band and wrapped in cellophane, the cigars are available individually or in bundles of ten.
