The Jurassic 127 is a deep grey pipe with a bright stem. The name is reminiscent of the region of the origin of Chacom.
more product details
Founded in 1825, the traditional company Chapuis Comoy is the oldest existing pipe manufacturer in the world. Nestled in the mountainous and rugged landscape of the French Jura lies the pipe-making mecca of Saint-Claude, where pipes were first crafted from the burl wood of the Erica arborea, better known as briar.
The company's owner, Antoine Grenard, is a trained industrial designer and a direct descendant of the founding Comoy family, who also established a branch in London (Comoy of London). In addition to a wide variety of wonderful antique models, the product range also includes modern creations.
This pipe is a resemblance to the Jura region in France, not far from Geneva. In this region Chacom is making their excellent pipes since decades.
This model stands out with its deep grey colour, that harmonizes well with the bright acrylic.
