Founded in 1825, the traditional company Chapuis Comoy is the oldest existing pipe manufacturer in the world. Nestled in the mountainous and rugged landscape of the French Jura lies the pipe-making mecca of Saint-Claude, where pipes were first crafted from the burl wood of the Erica arborea, better known as briar.
The company's owner, Antoine Grenard, is a trained industrial designer and a direct descendant of the founding Comoy family, who also established a branch in London (Comoy of London). In addition to a wide variety of wonderful antique models, the product range also includes modern creations.
Two pipes in one. With a long churchwarden stem a you can enjoy cozy evenings at home, while the short stem is for a practical use outside. Both stems are shape in a way that the pipe looks chic anyhow. The metal band creates an attractive accent.
