Back then, Craig and Patty Tarler bought what was left of an old tobacco factory, loaded it onto the van and started with a few pounds of tobacco, some recipes and a handful of flavors.
Today the tobacco is distributed for example throughout the USA, Canada, Malaysia, Spain and also in Germany.
At Cornell & Diehl, small batch is the name given to special tobaccos that are only produced in small quantities. The Carolina Red Flake contains the best red Virginias from North Carolina. The tobacco was harvested in 2015 - right in the heart of the old tobacco country.
An uncomplicated flake with a sweet, tangy and spicy taste. It is rich, deep, earthy with notes of dried fruits, grasses and citrus.
