Peterson

In 1865, brothers Friedrich and Heinrich Kapp opened their tobacco shop "Kapp Brothers" in Dublin, specializing in high-quality meerschaum and briar pipes. They had no idea they would soon be involved in the creation of a legend. A short time later, Charles Peterson approached them with a revolutionary pipe idea and proposed a partnership. The brothers agreed, and the company was renamed Kapp & Peterson. It quickly became Dublin's most renowned manufacturer and supplier of fine smoking articles. Pipe and cigar smokers appreciated the professional advice and the handcrafted products. The Peterson brand was quickly valued by personalities from politics, business, sports, and the arts.
