Rattray's looks back on a long history. It was in 1911 when Charles Rattray, a trained pipe tobacco blender, fulfilled his dream of owning his own pipe shop in Perth, Scotland. Today, the brand with Celtic roots is known for its pipes bearing the Triskele logo and pipe tobaccos, mostly made with traditional Scottish blends.
This pipe with its wide copper band, in which a triskelion is engraved, reminds one of a pot still of a whiskey distillery.
The well made sandblasting results in a larger surface for the pipe, so that it can be smoked cooler and is more resilient against impacts.
