Rattray's looks back on a long history. It was in 1911 when Charles Rattray, a trained pipe tobacco blender, fulfilled his dream of owning his own pipe shop in Perth, Scotland. Today, the brand with Celtic roots is known for its pipes bearing the Triskele logo and pipe tobaccos, mostly made with traditional Scottish blends.
This year's Summer Breeze is all about the thistle - Scotland's national plant. It stands for pride and steadfastness. And the Scots can be really proud of this tobacco.
A summery tasty mixture with the aroma of mango, passion fruit and some maple. The maple contributes a caramel sweetness and a hint of woody aromas. Various Virginias, a lot of Black Cavendish and a little Burley can be found in the tobacco picture.
