Rattray's looks back on a long history. It was in 1911 when Charles Rattray, a trained pipe tobacco blender, fulfilled his dream of owning his own pipe shop in Perth, Scotland. Today, the brand with Celtic roots is known for its pipes bearing the Triskele logo and pipe tobaccos, mostly made with traditional Scottish blends.
The Combination of green colour and a rough rustication makes us like this pipe very much. Yet this pipe was born out of necessity when Rattray's weeded out the bowls of the Dark Reign that weren't eligible for either the smooth or the sandblasted version. The haptic of this rustication is nicely done and therefore they made virtue out of necessity
