more product details
Ser Jacopo (full name "Ser Jacopo dalla Gemma") was founded in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi after learning his craft at Mastro de Paja.
The name and logo go back to an Italian nobleman of the Renaissance.
After the death of Giancarlo Guidi in 2012, the company was continued by his partner and supplier Maurizio Fraternale.
Ser Jacopo's pipes are generally classic, but with sometimes artistic interpretations of form and, above all, application. Creative approaches come into play, such as in the Picta series, in which the pipes are modeled on famous paintings.
All pipes bear the slogans "Fatta a mano" (Handmade) and "Per aspera ad astra" (Through hardship to the stars).
This handcrafted pipe tamper from Ser Jacopo is a stylish addition to your pipe collection and the ultimate accessory for pipe smokers.
Thanks to its double-screw mechanism, no dirt ends up in your pocket, and the tamper is compact.
With its two components—tamper and pick—you're perfectly equipped for enjoying your pipe.
