Vauen presented its autumn novelties at the stand. With the Cambridge, Leopold, Maximus, O'Timer, Penguin, and Tube pipe series, the Nuremberg-based manufacturer has created some very beautiful pipes, all of which are, of course, crafted to a high standard. Two new tobaccos are also being added to the range: the Lounge Blend and the Auenland Broken Flake. The Broken Flake, as a natural tobacco, perfectly complements the existing Auenland tobacco line.

Now that the last of the Dunhill tobaccos have been sold, Kohlhase & Kopp has already provided an equivalent replacement. The Robert McConnell Heritage series offers a truly authentic tobacco experience based on traditional recipes. At the same stand, we were able to see and sample the first winter and Christmas tobaccos. The Rattray's Winter Edition and the Kohlhase & Kopp Winter Time have a heavenly aroma of Christmas scents and are sure to get you in the holiday spirit. The Kohlhase & Kopp annual tobacco, "A Voyage Around The World," is also complemented by the Europe Edition.

In the pipe category at the Kopp subsidiary stand, we were able to acquire some new Rattray's Bog Oak bog oak pipes. Since some models proved prone to breakage at the shank, a briar insert was used to remedy the situation. 

We also now have a surprise in store: a Rattray's pipe knife by Claude Dozorme with an integrated tamper. 

We were able to acquire some unique pieces and the new Peterson Christmas pipes from Peterson, Stanwell, and Poul Winslow. These models are already available in the shop.

A small paradise for pipe lovers opened up to us at the MacBaren and Arnold André stand: The delicious HH Burley Flake is finally coming to the German market, and starting in 2019, two variations of Three Nuns will be available. Yellow – with plenty of Virginia and Green – is a spicy blend, presumably very close to the original recipe from several decades ago. Both are produced according to the old tobacco purity laws. Together with the already familiar black version, these tobaccos truly make up "Three Nuns."

In addition, there was a beautiful, richly illustrated book about pipes, pipe makers, and pipe tobacco: "The Pipe - A Functional Work of Art." This high-quality hardcover book boasts over 300 pages. A must-have for every pipe enthusiast.

A very special highlight came at the end: We will soon be able to offer the popular Big Ben pipes.
