MIRIQUIDI Pipe Tobacco - A Taste of Home
We are pleased to introduce our new pipe tobacco, Miriquidi. Miriquidi is a tribute to our home region, the Ore Mountains. The tobacco is exclusively crafted and comes in a wooden box branded with the Miriquidi logo.
It is a blend of Virginia and Burley with a slightly higher proportion of Black Cavendish. The aroma of nuts, like those freshly cracked from a nutcracker, creamy caramel, and Ore Mountain pastries will sweeten your pipe smoking experience.
The name Miriquidi, derived from Latin, means "dark forest" or "black forest." In the early Middle Ages, this was the name given to the Ore Mountains.
Even today, the region is covered in dense forests that seem almost enchanted. The tall trees reach for the sky, the canopy allows only a little light to penetrate, and the ground is covered with moss and ferns.
