No metal foil

Removing the metal foil facilitates recycling and allows for more efficient reuse of the packaging materials. The redesign of the packaging interiors is brand-specific to maintain each brand's individual character.

No product changes

The packaging changes mentioned above will be rolled out gradually across all brands over the next few months. The products themselves will remain unchanged and will continue to be manufactured to Mac Baren's high quality standards.

Our Comment

Mac Baren's efforts toward greater sustainability are a welcome step. Switching to FSC-certified paper and eliminating metal foil are important contributions to reducing environmental impact. It is hoped that other tobacco companies will follow suit.
