The full name of this tobacco is “Amsterdamer - Hollandsche Rooktabak - Fijne Snede.” Many may recognize it from vacations in France - it’s a classic that has stood the test of time.
A tobacco blend based on Virginia and dark-fired Kentucky. The Virginia from two continents provides a natural sweetness, while the dark-fired Kentucky adds a smoky note due to its fire-curing. An easy-to-pack loose cut with a delicate hint of licorice.

würzig lieblich gut
Der Tabak hat ein leibliches und würziges Aroma. Eine sehr leichte Lakritznote kommt eher im Nachgang zur Geltung und peppt das Raucherlebnis leicht auf. Er hat eine sehr angenehme Raum Note, die mich an deftige Aromen der Küche von Hausmannskost erinnert. Aus der Packung war er mir zu trocken und wurde schnell zu heiß. Ich habe ihn nachbefeuchtet. Nun macht er sich in kleinen Pfeifenköpfen gut. Insgesamt ist es ein sehr guter Tabak, aber für 5 Sterne reicht es nicht ganz.

Very Pleasant "go to" product
I was drawn to this by the "old skool" artwork and thought "I'll give this a try", I'm so glad I did. It's a very pleasant, gentle smoke, with a pleasing white smoke and no noticeable tongue/throat bite. It will join my regular line-up.

Leckerer Tabak
Der Geschmack entspricht der Produktbeschreibung. "Leicht würzig" würde ich persönlich noch ergänzen. Ein Lakritz-Topping habe ich nicht erkannt - es fehlt mir aber auch nicht. Ein unkomplizierter Tabak. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar.
