Sandblasted larch creates an interesting surface with fine lines. Exciting grain patterns can then be seen in the area of curves. The Vauen Patina adopts this look. There is a briar insert in the bowl, which allows the pipe to be smoked like the well known and proven briar pipe.
The coloring is particularly well done. The shade sits in the grooves and on surfaces. In other places, the underlying light wood can be seen. The whole thing looks like a patina from reused old wood.
