Established in Perth, Scotland, in 1903 by master blender Charles Rattray, Rattray’s is one of the most prestigious names in British pipe tobacco history. Today produced with utmost precision by Kopp Tobaccos in Germany, the brand is world-renowned for iconic Latakia powerhouses, pure aged Virginia flakes, and refined Scottish aromatics.
2024 is the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese calendar. The powerful zodiac sign represents positive energy, happiness and success. There is therefore an image of a dragon on the elegant decorative box and of course the obligatory Rattray's triskelion.
This complex mixture consists primarily of Black Cavendish and golden Virginia. It was rounded off with a portion of Burley and ready-rubbed Virginia.
The composition of the various components is first-class and could also be smoked without any flavoring. Nevertheless, the master blender from Rattray's went one better and created a masterful finish with a sweet, delicate rhubarb and a creamy vanilla aroma.
