In 2019, to celebrate its 120th anniversary, the importer AKRA launched the Angel 1899 cigar line. The cigars are produced by hand in Nicaragua in the Coronita and Palmita formats.

The blend combines tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic, Brazil, and Ecuador. Angel 1899 begins spicy but quickly develops into a creamy, slightly sweet note with a medium body. Thanks to their excellent value, they are perfect as a short smoke with coffee or spirits.
