The Cuban emigrant Simon Camacho, founder and namesake of the brand, laid the foundation stone for the company in Miami in 1961. In the mid-nineties, the brand's cigars were produced in Honduras, now owned by the Eiroa family. In 2008, Oettinger Imex AG (Davidoff) bought the brand rights from the Eiroas.

With Connecticut we present to you the mildest line from Camacho. But mild does not mean weak. The cigars made in Honduras have a spicy, full-bodied flavor profile. Inside there is Generoso and Aleman Ligero in the filler mix, a Honduran Corojo binder and an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper.
