The Cuban emigrant Simon Camacho, founder and namesake of the brand, laid the foundation stone for the company in Miami in 1961. In the mid-nineties, the brand's cigars were produced in Honduras, now owned by the Eiroa family. In 2008, Oettinger Imex AG (Davidoff) bought the brand rights from the Eiroas.

Made in Honduras with uncompromising craftsmanship, Camacho Nicaragua contains a blend of Honduras, Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, as well as a Honduran binder and an Ecuador wrapper. Medium-bodied, the complex blend offers full-bodied Nicaraguan flavors - spice, subtle sweetness and oaky notes.
