more product details
On January 30, 1817, Johann Friedrich Christian André laid the foundation stone for today's company. In Bünde in East Westphalia, the former cigar capital of Germany, the company is now run by Axel-Georg André, the 7th generation. He named the latest brand after his youngest son, Carlos André.
The cigars were originally intended as a "homage to the friends of the house" and were not intended for sale.
The Airborne series is rolled with a reddish-brown and velvety-silk H 2000 wrapper from Mexico, which has been aged for over five years. The name itself is derived from aviation and is intended to convey the feeling of taking off and the unique feeling of lightness.
