On January 30, 1817, Johann Friedrich Christian André laid the foundation stone for what is now the Arnold André company. Located in Bünde, East Westphalia, the former cigar capital of Germany, the company is now run by Axel-Georg André, the seventh generation of the family.
CARLOS ANDRÉ COLLECTOR’S CUT No. 3
Devotion The Devotion is the third edition of the CARLOS ANDRÉ COLLECTOR’S CUT series, limited to 250 numbered boxes worldwide. Each box is meticulously numbered: An internal, laser-engraved metal medallion bears the edition number, the name Devotion, and the personal signature of Axel-Georg André. The name Devotion represents the André family's deep connection to their craft. Blend and Tasting: This Piramides is hand-rolled in the Dominican Republic and uses a 5-year-aged Connecticut Shade Desflorado wrapper (Ecuador) and a Negro San Andres binder (Mexico). The filler is aromatic, spicy, and earthy. In terms of flavor, this cigar combines strength and refinement: It begins with notes of dark chocolate and roasted walnuts, accentuated by a subtle caramel sweetness. Floral wood nuances and an elegant peppery note develop as the smoke progresses. Special feature: The box is adorned with an artistic poppy motif, designed by artist Kathrin André, wife of owner Axel-Georg André.
