more product details
On January 30, 1817, Johann Friedrich Christian André laid the foundation stone for today's company. In Bünde in East Westphalia, the former cigar capital of Germany, the company is now run by Axel-Georg André, the 7th generation. He named the latest brand after his youngest son, Carlos André.
The cigars were originally intended as a "homage to the friends of the house" and were not intended for sale.
The Pace cigar delivers an intense smoking experience thanks to its Desflorado wrapper. It is earthy and spicy with notes of nut and coffee. Desflorado means that the flowers of the plant are removed early so that more nutrients go into the leaves. The result is strong leaves with a robust flavor and intense aroma.
