With the Chacom Alpina 426, the matt red finish with a light top edge and briar brass application invites you to linger.
more product details
Founded in 1825, the traditional company Chapuis Comoy is the oldest existing pipe manufacturer in the world. Nestled in the mountainous and rugged landscape of the French Jura lies the pipe-making mecca of Saint-Claude, where pipes were first crafted from the burl wood of the Erica arborea, better known as briar.
The company's owner, Antoine Grenard, is a trained industrial designer and a direct descendant of the founding Comoy family, who also established a branch in London (Comoy of London). In addition to a wide variety of wonderful antique models, the product range also includes modern creations.
Mountains can be a longing - the Alpina shortens the waiting time until the next mountain hike or winter holiday.
A cozy pipe with a matte finish in a reddish hue. The edge of the bowl is light and matches the briar ring with brass on the mouthpiece.
