Founded in 1825 in Saint-Claude—the French mecca of pipe making—the long-established manufacturer Chapuis-Comoy (Chacom) is the oldest pipe maker in the world. Under the leadership of owner and industrial designer Antoine Grenard, Chacom combines centuries-old briar craftsmanship with designs that range from the timelessly classic to the innovative and modern.
In the Lyon the stem was equipped with an acrylic end, that smoothly transitions into an aluminum band, which in turn transitions into a widening stem. The waistline created this way, has got an intriguing visual effect.
