Since 1990, extraordinary pipe tobaccos have been crafted in a historic, over 100-year-old malt house on the Elbe slope in Lauenburg, Germany. As an authentic craft manufacturer, DTM Dan Tobacco bridges the gap left by industrial mass production, preserving rare tobacco specialties and natural mixtures made with true artisan passion.
Old Ironsides is the nickname of the oldest battleship in the American fleet. The USS Constitution is said to have even withstood cannonballs.
The Old Ironsides tobacco is also a very special flake. Aromatic Virginia with high natural sugar content and flavorful Latakia were pressed as flake and matured in the press.
This resulted in a black, intense, tarry tobacco with sweet notes and powerful spice.
