Since 1990, extraordinary pipe tobaccos have been crafted in a historic, over 100-year-old malt house on the Elbe slope in Lauenburg, Germany. As an authentic craft manufacturer, DTM Dan Tobacco bridges the gap left by industrial mass production, preserving rare tobacco specialties and natural mixtures made with true artisan passion.
This tobacco is reminiscent of the former malthouse where DTM tobaccos are now produced.
A Virginia Ready Rubbed was mixed with Scottish malt whisky and then fermented in the press and aged for 12 hours.
The taste is spicy and complex. The overall impression is almost reminiscent of English blends.
