Since 1990, exceptional pipe tobaccos have been produced in a historic, over 100-year-old malt house on the Elbe hillside in Lauenburg.
As a manufactory, DTM Dan Tobacco fills the gap left by industrial mass production: Here, rare tobacco specialties and natural blends are preserved.
Exquisite flakes and blends mature here by hand, using restored, traditional technology, such as venerable tobacco presses of English origin.
The well-stocked raw tobacco warehouse provides the foundation for quality that improves with time. From leaf preparation to packaging, each batch (50 to 400 kg) is handled with passion and expertise.
Here the classics of an English mixture - Virginia, Orient and Latakia - have been put together in such a way that all the nuances of the tobacco come into their own. From soft and sweet to spicy and tart.

Neben dem RMC Original Oriental und Hans Wiedemanns Port Latakia mein neuer Lieblingstabak. Nicht zu stark, aber voll differenzierter Aromen und mit einer betörenden Süße. Eine der "unenglischsten" englischen Mischungen, die ich kenne, aber wahnsinnig gut. Eine wunderhübsche Dose rundet das Ganze ab.

Neben dem RMC Original Oriental und Hans Wiedemanns Port Latakia mein neuer Lieblingstabak. Nicht zu stark, aber voll differenzierter Aromen und mit einer betörenden Süße. Eine der "unenglischsten" englischen Mischungen, die ich kenne, aber wahnsinnig gut. Eine wunderhübsche Dose rundet das Ganze ab.
