Dirk Heinemann is one of the most renowned contemporary pipe makers on the international stage. A trained carpenter and qualified product designer, he crafts flawless, unique pieces entirely by hand in his workshop near Hanover—handling everything from the initial sketch and precise drilling to the creation of the mouthpiece from solid material.
If the briar is left natural, as is the case with this Heinemann, the pipe will get an individual color after use. The wood becomes a little darker and is given a distinctive look. The Dublin Shape is good and light in the hand. The sandblasting is pleasantly soft and produces a nice ring grain. The application made of light olive wood is perfect.
Dirk Heinemann is an internationally known pipe maker from a small town near Hanover. After he finished his carpenter training Dirk studied product design for five years at the university of Hanover. He finished his training with a masters degree.
With every pipe you will get a blueprint drawing of the pipe with the seal and signature of Dirk Heinemann pipes.
