The beautifully crafted cigars of this brand are surrounded by a belly band adorned with the mythical creature griffin. This is the heraldic animal of the "Griffin's Club", an exclusive private club in Geneva. The owner of the club, Bernard Grobet, had cigars with a matching belly band made for his guests for the first time in 1984. These were very popular and were soon sold in specialist shops under the name "The Griffin's". Since 1992, the brand has been owned by Oettinger Imex AG, which also sells Davidoff tobacco products.
The Griffin's Puritos are handcrafted short fillers that offer entertaining enjoyment. Woody, spicy base notes, enhanced by a subtle sweet fruity component. The dimensions of the cigarillo are above the conventional standard. The draw and burn are very good.
