The beautifully crafted cigars of this brand are surrounded by a belly band adorned with the mythical creature griffin. This is the heraldic animal of the "Griffin's Club", an exclusive private club in Geneva. The owner of the club, Bernard Grobet, had cigars with a matching belly band made for his guests for the first time in 1984. These were very popular and were soon sold in specialist shops under the name "The Griffin's". Since 1992, the brand has been owned by Oettinger Imex AG, which also sells Davidoff tobacco products.
Typical Dominican aromas of nut and coffee accompany this mild, handmade long-filler cigar. Enclosed in a flawless, silky Ecuador Connecticut Shade wrapper, the tobaccos inside are sourced from the Dominican Republic. These are complemented by aromas of nut and wood, enveloped in creamy smoke and framed by a pleasantly spicy heat. The smoking experience is enhanced by a comfortable draw and an ideal burn.
