Käpt'n Barsdorf's Bester is one of the most popular pipe tobaccos in Germany. The tobacco made by von Eicken clearly benefits from the Lübeck-based company's more than 250 years of experience in mixing pipe tobacco.

OK, but not great.
I may have received an "aged" tin, but I found it a bit "lacking". Blending with some SJP Perique made a huge difference. This isn't to complain about a nice smoke, I may have gotten a rogue can. I've also tried Dark Fired, Yellow and Virginia version, and overall, I'm VERY satisfied

Sehr guter Tabak
Ich finde den Schnitt gut.Sein Kirschearoma empfinde ich ansprechend ,genauso sein Raumduft - sehr angenehm. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

OK, but not great.
I may have received an "aged" tin, but I found it a bit "lacking". Blending with some SJP Perique made a huge difference. This isn't to complain about a nice smoke, I may have gotten a rogue can. I've also tried Dark Fired, Yellow and Virginia version, and overall, I'm VERY satisfied
