more product details
The La Aroma del Caribe cigar brand, which comes from the renowned Ashton house, was officially launched in 2003, but its origins probably date back to the late 1880s.
When they were launched, the cigars were manufactured in the Tabacalera Flor de Copan in Honduras. In 2009, Ashton transferred production to Jose Pepin Garcia, who redesigned the series. Today, all La Aroma del Caribe cigars are manufactured in García's factory, and two binders are used, typical of the factory's style. The brand's high quality standards are underlined by the fact that only selected cigar rollers, so-called torcedores, are entrusted with the production of La Aroma del Caribe.
The La Aroma del Caribe No. 5 is a typical tapered Belicoso format. With a drinking time of about one hour, the medium to strong smoke presents complexity. The variety of aromas includes wood, earth, leather, and spices, as well as subtle notes of cocoa, nuances of roasted almonds, and ground coffee.
