After completion, León Jimenes' Series 300 Cameroon cigars mature for a full 300 days in an aging room.
more product details
León Jimenes is backed by over 100 years of family tradition and one of the oldest factories in the Dominican Republic. In 1903, Eduardo León Jimenes, then 18 years old and the son of a tobacco farmer, founded the La Aurora cigar factory. The company remains owned by the founding family to this day. La Aurora claims to be the oldest cigar brand in the Dominican Republic.
As a tribute to its founder, León Jimenes was introduced as a brand in 1987, characterized by a smooth tobacco blend and encased in light Connecticut wrappers.
Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, this cigar combines an oily, shimmering Cameroonian wrapper from Ecuador with filler tobaccos from Peru, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. For a more balanced character, the hand-rolled long fillers are stored in an aging room for a full 300 days after completion, hence the line's name. During the approximately 45-minute smoke, you'll be accompanied by dark, earthy base notes, which gradually expand to include aromas of dried fruit, mild spices, cinnamon, leather, and nuts.
