The three brands from Maya Selva in a tempting sample offer, with tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras.
more product details
Born in France and raised in Honduras, Maria Pia Selva, or Maya Selva as she calls herself, studied engineering, but developed a passion for cigars during her studies.
In 1991, the now 24-year-old Maya returned to Honduras to pursue her love of tobacco and bring Honduran cigars to France. Dissatisfied with the existing cigars, Selva wanted to create ones that reflected the character of the Honduran soil. She worked for over a year in a cigar factory in Danlí to learn the entire production process, from seed to finished cigar. During this time, she met Nestor Plasencia and in 1994 persuaded him to collaborate with her.
Flor de Selva was launched in France in 1995 and quickly established itself.
The Nicaraguan puros of the Cumpay series followed in 1999.
Villa Zamorano joined the line in 2002.
In 2024, Danlí was added as a tribute to her beginnings.
A selection of the brands “Flor de Selva,” “Cumpay,” and “Villa Zamorano.” These three are all from master blender Maya Selva and offer a taste of her delicious, extensive range. The tobacco for the cigars comes from Nicaragua and Honduras. The formats are Robusto and Figurado from the brands mentioned.
