Chocolate, coffee and fruit accompany the creamy smoke of the Nicaraguan Puro, Monumento by Paradiso.
more product details
The Nicaraguan cigar series from Ashton, known in the USA as "San Cristobal", is called Paradiso in Europe for trademark reasons and was launched in 2007.
The hand-rolled long fillers are produced in collaboration with Don Pepin Garcia in his factory in Estelí. The tobacco is fermented several times for at least two to three years to achieve the brand's typical complexity. Finally, the cigars are given time to rest in aging rooms so that the aromas can play around and unite.
The Paradiso cigars offer an excellent balance of strength and complexity. Tobacco from the volcanic soils of Nicaragua is used for the filler and binder. Various Ecuador wrappers differentiate the series.
The Monumento from Paradiso shows nuances of strong coffee, fruit and cedar wood after smoking for over an hour. The Paradiso Clasico is a Nicaraguan Puro that is sold in the USA under the name San Cristobal, this is for trademark reasons. The cigars are made by hand for Ashton Cigars, the blend was created in collaboration with Jose Pepin Garcia. The strong smoke lasts for around one to one and a half hours. During this time, complex nuances of wood and nuts, as well as aromatic coffee and dark chocolate, develop, along with a fruity sweetness and creamy smoke.
