Die Dosen dieser Serie sind inzwischen besser verschließbar und halten den Tabak damit länger feucht. Beim Öffnen der Dose verströmt der tadellos verpackte Tabak einen sehr intensiven Duft nach roten Beeren und auch Anis. Der Geschmack im Mund erinnert stark an Götterspeise. nur ab und an sind Tabaknoten zu erschmecken; die heftige Aromatisierung überlagert alles. Im Vergleich zu S.G´s. Fire Dance Flake, der aber keinen Burley und keine Orienttabake enthält, ist der Purple Pearl ein ausgesprochen hocharomasierter Tabak und sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig.
