By the time of their birth, the brothers Friedrich and Heinrich Kapp from Nuremburg, who's elegant tobacco shop in the 1865 opened on Grafton Street in Dublin, never dreamt that they would become part of a legend.
Friedrich & Heinrich, who called their business “Kapp Brothers” quickly build up a reputation for their self made and sold high quality meerschaum and briar pipes. It wasn't long before Charles Peterson stepped into their shop – with a revolutionary pipe and ambitious plans for the future to come.
It was that day, he proposed a partnership with the brothers to make his dream of this pipe come true.
They came to an agreement and the company's name was changed to Kapp & Peterson. Kapp and Peterson were on a straight path to become Dublin's trendiest and most renowned manufacturer and supplier of fine tobacco products. Pipe smokers as cigar smokers alike went onto their premises for a professional consultation about fine nuances in a well made cigar or pipe. The brand Peterson became highly regarded by politicians, companies, athletes, artist and authors from all walks of life.
The Early Morning Pipe of Peterson is a well known and more loved tobacco that mainly consists of Oriental and Virginia. Some added Latakia infuses it with just the right amount of smokiness. Medium length cut.

Nicht mein Fall...
Den Geruch des Tabaks in der Dose finde ich gut, erinnert mich etwas an den "Schwarzer Krauser" Zigarettentabak. Erster Eindruck somit positiv . Geraucht ist er jedoch überhaupt nicht mein Fall. Da steckt eine Nuance drin, die - wie ein User weiter unten beschrieben hat - an "smoked meat, like beef jerkey" erinnert. Das muss man mögen. Auch die Raumnote ist meiner Empfindung nach von diesem speziellen Aroma durchdrungen. Positiv zu vermerken ist der gute Abbrand nach kurzer vorangegangener Trocknung. Mein persönliches Fazit ist jedoch: Bei mir wird er nicht erneut in der Pfeife landen.

Hervorragend
Mein absoluter Lieblingstabak. Orient und Latakia - seit Jahrzehnten die optimale Mischung. Früher unter Dunhill vertrieben, jetzt unter Peterson - einfach genial.

Ein echter Engländer
Keine störende Aromatisierung, einfach Tabak. Eine Klasse Mischung um wach zu werden. Paßt prima zu einem Kaffee. Schöner Abbrand und gutes Raumklima.

Sehr gute Tabakmischung
Sehr angenehme, milde englische Mischung mit vielfältigen Geschmacksnoten. Von nussig, über virginia Süße und oriental Würze mit leichten fruchtigen Noten, alles in allem mild und sehr angenehm ausgewogen, zugleich immer wieder interessant und nicht langweilig. Toller Tabak!

Great intro to English blends
I am usually an aromatic smoker, and have wanted to foray into the heavier blends. This does not disappoint, as the Latakia is light enough to smoke for a beginner. I have even cut it further with some burley tobacco to lighten up the taste. It reminds me of smoked meat, like beef jerky, and the room note is not unpleasant. Be aware, it will ghost a pipe, so you may want to have one dedicated to this blend.
