Poul Winsløw was born 1951 and already began in young years with the crafting of pipes. As an apprentice of Preben Holm he refined and extended his skills whilst developing his distinctive style.
After Preben Holm had to close his workshop due to medical reasons, Poul went into self-employment and created pipes under his own name. Today his reputation is legendary around the world. His pipes stand for sublime quality, which is not alone owned to the incredible quality of the raw materials he uses. The shapes are more often than not based on classic shapes, which he interprets anew.
The Winslow Harlekin consists of Cavendish, Burley and different Virginia tobaccos. This tobacco pleases the tongue. Aromas of vanilla, cocos and lime merge into a completed fruity sweet aroma and a noticeable room note.

Nicht ganz günstig, dafür aber sehr gut
Ein super Tabak, lecker, aromatisch und mit einem guten Abbrand. Der bisher beste aromatisierte Tabak den ich hatte. Dafür aber auch der preislich höchste. Trotzdem jederzeit zu empfehlen, ich werden ihn mir wieder kaufen.

Ein ganz besonderes Highlight diesen Tabak zu rauchen. Habe sehr viele Tabake in meinem Leben ausprobiert aber keiner war für mich wie dieser. Preislich nicht gerade günstig aber sonst Top. Werde dabei bleiben.

Not as good as the price would have you believe
The room note straight from the tin is very nice. But that's where it stops. When smoked, this has very little flavor, and less room note. This is the most expensive tobacco I've ever purchased, and I will not again. Stick with Rattray's Summer Blend (2018 or 2020 - 2019 was a disappointment) or any of the various Vauen Auenland blends.

Ein spitzen Tabak!
Dieser Tabak hält was er verspricht. Für mich als wiedereinsteiger ins Pfeifenrauchen ein sehr guter und milder Tabak zudem bin ich auch noch ein Fan von aromatisierten Tabaken mit Vanillearoma. Ich bin mir klar darüber dass die geschmäcker verschieden sind der eine will´s halt kräftiger, der andere milder. Über den Preis läßt sich streiten. Etwas weniger würde mir beser gefallen. Aber auf jeden Fall ein Spitzentabak.
