After Rocky Patel sold his law firm, in which he represented well-known Hollywood stars, he traveled to Honduras to pursue his passion, cigars. For five years he learned every arduous step of tobacco cultivation and cigar production.
"Indian Tabac Bend" was the name of his first brand, which laid the foundation for a meteoric career in 1990. He traveled to many countries, built up connections with tobacco farmers, always on the lookout for the best tobacco. His cigars have won numerous prizes and awards and are highly praised in specialist magazines.
The Vintage 1999 Connecticut is characterized by its characteristic wrapper leaf. Originally from the 1999 harvest, it matured for at least seven years. Today, leaves that have been matured for at least ten years are used.
The blend is rounded off by a Nicaraguan binder leaf and a filler made from Ligero tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua that have been stored for eight years. The mild blend seduces with creamy smoke and a wonderful interplay of aromatic herbs, fine cedar wood and nut aromas. Due to its characteristics, the vitolas are suitable as an equivalent to a light meal or as an introduction to the world of cigar enjoyment.
