With over 200 years of history, Samuel Gawith has a lot of experience in pipe tobacco. They stayed true to themselves, because some varieties are still produced according to old recipes and even with the old machines. From flake to loose cut, English, Danish, Scottish or just single-origin tobacco. With Samuel Gawith's pipe tobacco, myths become legends.
This tobacco is better met with some respect because it is pressed with Dark Fired Kentucky as well as Virginia and then baked 24 hours in an oven, before it was rubbed by hand. This fellow is intensive, dark and creates a complex, rich smoke with every pull. The aroma is very earthy.
