more product details
Ser Jacopo (full name "Ser Jacopo dalla Gemma") was founded in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi after learning his craft at Mastro de Paja.
The name and logo go back to an Italian nobleman of the Renaissance.
After the death of Giancarlo Guidi in 2012, the company was continued by his partner and supplier Maurizio Fraternale.
Ser Jacopo's pipes are generally classic, but with sometimes artistic interpretations of form and, above all, application. Creative approaches come into play, such as in the Picta series, in which the pipes are modeled on famous paintings.
All pipes bear the slogans "Fatta a mano" (Handmade) and "Per aspera ad astra" (Through hardship to the stars).
An excitingly designed pipe with a square, curved shank that blends harmoniously into a conical bowl and a mouthpiece with a swing. The perfect balance allows the pipe to stand on its own. Equipped with a 9mm filter.
