more product details
Ser Jacopo (full name "Ser Jacopo dalla Gemma") was founded in 1982 by Giancarlo Guidi after learning his craft at Mastro de Paja.
The name and logo go back to an Italian nobleman of the Renaissance.
After the death of Giancarlo Guidi in 2012, the company was continued by his partner and supplier Maurizio Fraternale.
Ser Jacopo's pipes are generally classic, but with sometimes artistic interpretations of form and, above all, application. Creative approaches come into play, such as in the Picta series, in which the pipes are modeled on famous paintings.
All pipes bear the slogans "Fatta a mano" (Handmade) and "Per aspera ad astra" (Through hardship to the stars).
A Ser Jacopo pipe with a spectacular mouthpiece. The clear amber acrylic features dark colored stripes. The depth of the material creates a beautiful 3D effect. The mouthpiece ring is made of sterling silver. It comes with a 9mm filter.
