Stanwell is experiencing a triumphant rebirth! The European rights to this legendary Danish brand—long distributed by the Scandinavian Tobacco Group—have been acquired by Kopp Pipes. Founded in 1946 by Poul Nielsen, Stanwell revolutionized the industry by creating the world-famous "Danish Design"—a tradition that is now returning to specialist retailers, featuring original tooling, classic shapes, and modern 9mm filter technology.
With the København series, the iconic Danish brand Stanwell makes a striking statement regarding its relaunch in the German market. Named after the Danish capital, this high-quality debut series brings the brand's most iconic classic shapes—crafted to the highest standards—back to pipe racks everywhere.
The series appeals to enthusiasts of traditional Danish design: clean, perfectly proportioned lines meet a flawless finish. An elegant aluminum ring adorns the shank, serving as a stylish focal point and adding a subtle, modern touch between the exquisite briar bowl and the deep black, durable acrylic mouthpiece.
Tailored specifically to the preferences of Central European pipe smokers, the København models feature generously sized bowls for a long-lasting smoke, combining timeless aesthetics with modern smoking comfort thanks to a contemporary 9mm filter bore. It is a pipe series that translates Danish design history into a perfect, everyday-ready experience.
