Thorsten Feitt, who was born in Saarland, has been living and working in Ostallgäu (Bavaria) since 2011.
As a carpenter's apprentice and enthusiastic Lord of the Rings fan, the first attempts were made in the early 2000s to replicate the churchwarden pipes of Gandalf, Bilbo and Co. What was lost over the years was then revived and so in 2017 the pipe manufacturer Thorsten Feitt was founded. Building pipes is his passion and he loves the challenge of implementing new ideas.
This pipe resembles the shape of an old German hunting pipe. Instead of porcelain, however, high-quality briar with a dense, straight grain is used. The intermediate piece is made of antler and is also provided with a 9mm tenon. This could even use 2 filters.
The cozy churchwpipe in giant format has a very large capacity and is suitable for long evenings in nature or at home.
