Thorsten Feitt, who was born in Saarland, has been living and working in Ostallgäu (Bavaria) since 2011.
As a carpenter's apprentice and enthusiastic Lord of the Rings fan, the first attempts were made in the early 2000s to replicate the churchwarden pipes of Gandalf, Bilbo and Co. What was lost over the years was then revived and so in 2017 the pipe manufacturer Thorsten Feitt was founded. Building pipes is his passion and he loves the challenge of implementing new ideas.
The so-called Ramses shape is something you only see from select pipe makers in the handmade sector. This Thorsten Feitt pipe is also 9mm filtered, making it a real rarity with this shape.
The lower section of the tobacco chamber is made of bog oak. The stem is authentically crafted from hand-carved ebonite.
