The Tsuge pipes can look back on a long history. The pipe maker Kyoichiro Tsuge founded his buiseness in 1936. Interrupted by the Second World War, he continued his production in 1945. Over the decades and with a lot of engagement Tsuge became one of the most renowned pipe manufactories with its Japanese charm and highest quality. Today their company headquarters is located in Tokyo.
After a few decades ago Tsuge sent a few pipe makers to Denmark to learn from the great Danish pipe makers, the charm of Danish design and craftsmanship can still be found in the Tsuge range.
This is also the case with the Cats Eye, which could also have come from the hands of a Danish master.
