more product details
The Tsuge pipes can look back on a long history. The pipe maker Kyoichiro Tsuge founded his buiseness in 1936. Interrupted by the Second World War, he continued his production in 1945. Over the decades and with a lot of engagement Tsuge became one of the most renowned pipe manufactories with its Japanese charm and highest quality. Today their company headquarters is located in Tokyo.
With the Calabash System, the smoke is additionally cooled, dried, and filtered. It is first guided through a larger swirl chamber before being directed via the stem to the mouthpiece.
With the Tsuge System Calabash, the swirl chamber is located directly below the tobacco chamber. The two chambers are separated by a screw cap. A 9mm filter can also be inserted into the mouthpiece.
The pipe comes with a screw cap that can be screwed onto either the bottom or top of the pipe. This allows it to serve as a stand or as a pipe lid.
