A testimony of Vauen's creativity. For the Lime highly structured oak wood has been chosen which receive the “lime look” through a special treatment. The bowl is outfitted with a silicate element to protect the wood from the heat without taking away of the desired dry smoke. In addition the Lime receives a very nice visual contrast through this.
The silicate insert is a further development of the classic meerschaum insert. It is fireproof, food-safe and absorbs moisture very well. It is also odorless and tasteless.
