The brand was founded in 1998. The name refers to "Vegas Finas", which is the name given to special growing areas where the soil composition, humidity and climate harmonize perfectly to grow excellent tobacco.
The cigars are made by hand in the Dominican Republic, in the Tabacalera de Garcia under master blender José Seijas.

The limited edition described here is presented by VegaFina to mark the 35th anniversary of 5th Avenue Products Trading GmbH and pays homage to a successful partnership. This vitola, produced exclusively for the German market, is part of the Linea 1998 series. It is a figurado format that was not previously included in the line's standard range.
It features a darker wrapper, giving the VF 50 P a distinctive and sublime look and a unique taste experience. For extra complexity, the Grupo de Maestros at the Tabacalera de García in the Dominican Republic handcraft the blend using tobaccos from five different countries of origin, each aged for at least three years. The filler contains the line's signature blend.
The special edition cigars have been enhanced with a "35 Aniversario" foot ring, and the boxes have been enhanced with silver foil printed in the country's colors.
