In the early 1930s, Zippo was founded in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA by George G. Blaisdell. Zippo lighters are still produced and repaired there today.
It all started with the idea of improving lighters. Blaisdell first developed a lighter from Austria, which caused his friend many problems when using it.
The result was so good that Zippo continues to produce it to this day in almost the same form.
Zippo lighters are subject to a special warranty that is valid for life, but "only" 30 years in Germany for legal reasons.
With this insert you can turn your normal Zippo into a jet flame lighter. The insert fits into any standard case (not compatible with slim and 1935 replica cases).
A double blue flame is created at the push of a button. The famous Zippo click sound when opened is of course retained.
It can be refilled with lighter gas.
