In the early 1930s, Zippo was founded in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA by George G. Blaisdell. Zippo lighters are still produced and repaired there today.
It all started with the idea of improving lighters. Blaisdell first developed a lighter from Austria, which caused his friend many problems when using it.
The result was so good that Zippo continues to produce it to this day in almost the same form.
Zippo lighters are subject to a special warranty that is valid for life, but "only" 30 years in Germany for legal reasons.
With this Zippo pipe insert, a regular Zippo lighter can be converted into a pipe lighter.
The ring allows the flame to be used comfortably to light the tobacco surface in the pipe without damaging the wood of the pipe.

Optimal für den Außenbereich
Habe bereits ein Zippo Pfeifenfeuerzeug und finde es super, dass Ihr den Einsatz im Sortiment habt. So kann ich meinen normales Zippo problemlos umrüsten. Prima! Für den Außenbereich, z. B. an der See, hat mir das Zippo gute Dienste erwiesen. Okay, beim Entzünden kann es sein, dass man das Benzin ein wenig schmeckt, aber das verfliegt nach dem Entzünden recht schnell. Daher ist das für mich kein Problem.

Habe bereits ein Zippo Pfeifenfeuerzeug und finde es super, dass Ihr den Einsatz im Sortiment habt. So kann ich meinen normales Zippo problemlos umrüsten. Prima! Für den Außenbereich, z. B. an der See, hat mir das Zippo gute Dienste erwiesen. Okay, beim Entzünden kann es sein, dass man das Benzin ein wenig schmeckt, aber das verfliegt nach dem Entzünden recht schnell. Daher ist das für mich kein Problem.
